ASPI of the Colombo Stock Exchange maintained a positive trajectory throughout all trading sessions of the week driven by price appreciations of blue-chip companies. However, turnover remained at subdued levels, with average turnover remaining below LKR 1bn. It was observed that institutional investor participation was lacking during the week, as negotiated deals only accounted for 2.9%.
